E-PRCS: Processes Are Queued When The Process Scheduler Resides In A Different Time Zone (Doc ID 1163113.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

This issue only affects environments running PeopleTools Version 8.50 and the Oracle database platform. This document is not applicable for PeopleTools versions prior to 8.50 and for databases that are not Oracle database type.




Symptoms

Processes scheduled to run through a Process Scheduler that resides in a different timezone will be delayed and will appear in the Process Monitor with a run status of Queued.

For example:

If the Application server and the Database server resides in timezone AEST and the PSNT Windows Scheduler resides in a different timezone of CET, (which is 10 hrs behind), then the processes that are scheduled to run on PSNT will be queued for 10 hrs.
