After installing an SSL certificate and attempting to log into the PeopleSoft application using an https url, you receive one of the following messages:

For Internet Explorer, you receive a 'page cannot be displayed' message or else a pop-up window displays this message:

Choose a digital certificate
The website you want to view requests identification. Please choose a certificate

For Mozilla Firefox, you may receive this message:

The page isn't redirecting properly:
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies


The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading
