In Benefits Administration, future-dated elections not being removed when an employee's termination event is processed.
STEPS TO REPLICATE
1. Create event rules and other configurations to match the issue report. Credits are not used on either the Benefit Program or the benefit plans, so they must be removed from any demo environment by using SQL Delete statements.
a) Benefit plan - Set Up HRMS > Product Related > Base Benefits > Program Structure > Benefit Program Table > select the automated benefit program to be tested
b) Event rules - Set Up HRMS > Product Related > Automated Benefits > Eligibility and Event Rules > sample rules to test - KU1X for Health Plans, adjust HIR and TER for the customer's date rules
2. Build all pay calendars for the test period and test pay group
Set Up HRMS > Product Related > Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing Controls > Pay Calendar Table, Create Pay Calendars once Balance IDs are in place.
3. Hire an employee, make elections and validate.
Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > On Demand Event Maintenance
HIR event processing - waive the medical plan
4. Terminate an employee and process the TER event
Result should be that a message is created advising of removal of the future dated row.
