Purpose


The purpose of this document is to give you some guidance on how to troubleshoot Application Server crashes. There can be various reasons which cause Application Server processes to crash, like a PeopleTools issue, bad OS patches, insufficient user-limits on Unixes , bad object definitions in DB. It is better to eliminate environment-related issues before you start investigating the issue as a potential bug.
