Job Opening Close Date (CLOSE_DT) is Not the Effective Date of the Close Status For the Opening. (Doc ID 1268241.1)

After upgrading from HRMS version 8.8 to HRMS version 9.1, we notice that a different CLOSE_DT is being used.

In 8.8 the value used for JOB_REQ_NBR.CLOSE_DT is based on the Effective Date of the Applicant Hire or Job Transfer.  It does not go by the date that the job opening was actually closed, which could be prior to "today" (the date the transaction is actually entered).

In HRMS version 9.1, the CLOSE_DT is the transaction date of the Hire/Transfer, rather than the  effective date of the close status for Job Opening.

Why was the logic changed?
