Incorrect Ship and Arrival Scheduled Dates Calculation when Loading an EDI Sales Order (SALES_ORDER_LOAD EIP) and the Requested Arrival Date Is in the Past (Doc ID 1272101.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Order Management - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When loading an EDI Sales Order (using the SALES_ORDER_LOAD EIP) with a Requested Arrival Date in the past (say Oct. 22 (a Friday)), the Scheduled Ship Date is calculated by the 'OM Order Completion/Reprice' process (OM_BACKGRND) (navigation: Order Management, Quotes and Orders, Process Orders, Order Completion) as being Oct. 22 even though the day has passed. The Scheduled Arrival Date gets set to Oct. 24 (a Sunday) (Transportation lead Time being 2 days) but this is also incorrect as there is Carrier Calendar Exceptions with no pick up and driving during the weekend.
