Performing an upgrade that includes a Tools Upgrade to PeopleTools 8.51.
At the step Reviewing PeopleTools Objects, the compare to the PPLTLS84CUR project file
failed with an error saying the record PSCOMPDEFN did not exist:
File: E:\pt85105c-retail\peopletools\src\psprj\upgrepttbl.cppSQL error. Stmt #: 162 Error Position: 12 Return: 942 - ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Failed SQL stmt:INSERT INTO PSCOMPDEFN (PROJECTNAME, TGTSERVERNAME, TGTDBNAME, TGTOPRID, SRCSERVERNAME, SRCDBNAME, SRCOPRID, REPORTFILTER, TGTORIENTATION, COMPARETYPE, KEEPTGT, COMMITLIMIT, MAINTPROJ, COMPRELEASE, COMPRELDTTM,PROJECTDESCR,RUNDTTM,GUID) VALUES (:1,:2,:3,:4,:5,:6,:7,:8,:9,:10,:11,:12, :13,:14,TO_TIMESTAMP(:15,'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS.FF'),:16, TO_TIMESTAMP(:17,'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS.FF'),:18)"
The table PSCOMPITEM is not there either.
When should these tables be created, and where are these tables supposed to be loaded?
As of PeopleTools release 8.52, an additional table, PSCOMPSESSION, is called when the check box is checked. The error message would include
Return: 942 - ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Failed SQL stmt:SELECT PROJECTNAME, RUNDTTM FROM PSCOMPSESSION WHERE PTSESSIONID = :1
