Reactivate/Update Termination Fails When Employee Data Contains Job Earnings Distribution (Doc ID 1328163.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the Reactivate/Termination Update process (navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Temporary Assignments > Reactivate/Update Termination) for an employee with Job Earnings Distribution data, the following error occurs.

Process 1051 ABENDED at Step HR_REACTVTER.TASJOB.Step05 (PeopleCode) -- RC = 8 (108,524)



STEPS TO REPLICATE:
---------------------------
1. Go to Job Data (navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data).
2. Click the Earnings Distribution link.
3. Note that the employee has Job Earnings Distribution data.
4. Go back to Job Data.
5. Insert a new row with Action = Temporary Assignment. Enter an Expected Job End Date and check the End Job Automatically box.
6. On the Job Information tab, enter a Duties Type.
7. Click the Earnings Distribution link.
8. Note that the employee has Job Earnings Distribution data.
9. Save.
10. When WORKFORCE_SYNC completes, go back to Job Data
11. Note that the Temporary Assignment is now Empl Rcd 0.
12. Note that a row with Action = Hold Substantive Job has been inserted & Empl Rcd updated to 1 for the original job.
13. Run the Reactivate/Termination Update process (navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Temporary Assignments > Reactivate/Update Termination).
14. Click the Process Monitor link.
15. Note that the process runs to No Success.
16. Click the Details link.
17. Scroll down and click the View Log/Trace link.
18. Click the link AE_HR_REACTVTER_1051.stdout.
19. Note that process abends with error (2,268).
