Symptoms


ISSUE STATEMENT
---------------
In PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions release 9, the official grades appear as display only on the Grade Change Request page and are not editable for an instructor to perform grade changes in self service

WHAT IS WORKING
---------------
Instructor is able to navigate to the Grade Change Request page, but is unable to submit any request.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The Official Grades field on the Grade Change Request page is read only.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
---------------
Expect the instructors to be able to submit grade changes in self service.

STEPS
---------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Log in as an instructor and navigate to Self Service - Faculty Center - Grade Roster for a class that is already graded and grades are posted.
2. Click the Request Grade Change link, it opens the Change Grade Request page.
3. Notice the grades listed under Official Grades are read only.

BUSINESS IMPACT
---------------------------
Instructors will have to request and rely on administrative staff to perform grade changes, which defeats the purpose of self service.
