Enhancement Request to Add Additional ChartFields such as 'Department' in the Item's 'Purchasing Attributes' Page

Account, Alternate Account, and Product are the ony ChartFields which are available on the Item's 'Purchasing Attributes' page (navigation: Items, Define Items and Attributes, Purchasing Attributes).

The reason why we have delivered the above 3 ChartFields only is that other ChartFields, such as Department, are often tied to the User, the Requester, or the Buyer who creates the transaction (for example a Requisition or a Purchase Order) and not to the Item itself. Items are usually cross departments meaning that they can be ordered by different departments.

There is currently no way to add additional ChartFields such as 'Department' in that page other than via a customization.
