E-PPR: Download To Grid Gives 404 Error If Data Language Is Different From Login Language (Doc ID 1352708.1)

Symptoms

ISSUE STATEMENT
---------------
The Download Grid To Excel functionality doesnot work if Data Language is enabled and the user changes the Data Language to another language.  "Error 404--Not Found" occurs.

Download to Grid only works if the Data Language selected is the same language as the login language. If you change Data Language to a different language, the 404 error occurs.

Problem is replicable in on all pages, including delivered pages such as Process Scheduler's
Process Monitor page (PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor).

STEPS
---------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

(A) Enable Multi-language Data Entry:
- Select My Personalizations on the navigation menu from your homepage.
- The Personalizations page appears.
- Click the Personalize Options button on the General Options line.
- The Option Category General Options page appears.
- Change the value for the Multi Language Entry option to Yes.
- Click OK.

(B) See error when changing Data Language:
- Login to application in English
- PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor
- While Data Language is in English, click Download Grid, works.
- Change Data Language to French, click Download Grid, broken. 404 error.

- Login with French (Francais)
- PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor
- Download to Grid works only when Data Language is French.
- Change Data Language to English, Download Grid fails with 404.
