Goal

When you enter a Sales Order or a Material Stock Request (MSR) for an Item, run the 'Reserve Materials' process (IN_FUL_RSV) against that transaction and there is no quantity to fulfill it, the system cancels the demand line in Inventory, creates a new one, and mark it as Backorder. If you cancel that Backorder, you end up with 2 canceled demand lines for the same Sales Order line or Material Stock Request line.

Why not just marking the first demand line as Backorder instead of canceling it and creating a new one?
