Goal
This document explains Line By Line POC869840 which has fixed several reported time approval defects. This POC is also a part of HCM Bundle#7
Analysis
The initial approval framework used to approve the timesheet altogether. It used to approve set of rows together.
- When an approver takes action, update approved punches individually as they are approved, not all punches for the day.
- When a user modifies a punch, re-submit only those punches affected by the modification.
- When a user modifies a punch or an elapsed time entry where no approver has yet taken action, simply leave the AWE entry alone. No need to terminate and resubmit, UNLESS the TRC is changed, because that could mean that the approvers involved will change.
- When a manager views time enable and support selection and re-submitting denied and pushed back time without requiring the entry to be changed.
Pre Requisites:
Pre Requisites for the POC: HCM Bundle #6
Prior to installing this upgrade, ALL existing punches must be closed out (approved, denied or pushed back). This is a MUST Pre Requisite. Customers could approve the time via system or run the Updates on PS_TL_RPTD_TIME, PS_EOAW_STEPINST, PS_EOAW_USERINST, PS_TL_APP_RPTD_XRF to approve remaining time
