Information in this document applies to any platform.
If the nVision "3-tier" client is left open for over an hour, it will time out. Once this occurs, users must relaunch nVision and reconnect.
On the same machine, no timeouts occur with Application Designer or Datamover.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Logs in nVision client in 3-tier environment.
2. Leave it idle for one hour.
3. nVision will time out.
