ETL9.1: Delegation Request Is Accepted By Manager But The Delegation Status Is Inactive. (Doc ID 1369735.1)

Symptoms


When a Manager submits a delegation request for Approve time, inputs time and approves absence request to another Manager, the Manager will go in and accepts the delegation request but the Delegation status will stay as inactive.

Customer was provided existing resolution from HR-SS : Maintain Delegated Authorities process. <Document: 662706.1> which suggests to run process Maintain Delegated Authorities
Use the following navigation to run the process:
Navigation: Workforce Administration > Self Service Transactions > Approvals and Delegation > Maintain Delegated Authorities

Once the above process was run customer reported the following error:

Customer was then provided existing Document HCDL_BATCH App Engine Generates Error <Document: 1278560.1> - issue still persists.
