E-IB/AS: Get "(JNIUTIL): Java exception thrown: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" on Trying to Load PUBSUB Services in App Server Domain (Doc ID 1373816.1)

Symptoms


1.  When attempting to boot an application server domain with PUBSUB enabled the following error occurs in the appserv_mmdd.log file:

ERROR

PSPUBDSP_dflt.4668 (0) [11/03/11 11:04:30](1) (JNIUTIL): Java exception thrown: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

NOTE: The error can occur not only for PSPUBDSP_dflt but for any of the PUBSUB services such as PSPUBDSP_dflt, PSPUBHND_dflt, PSBRKDSP_dflt, PSBRKHND_dflt, PSSUBDSP_dflt, PSSUBHND_dflt

 

2. This problem can also occur after the application domain has been successfully booted. There may be various Java out of memory errors in APPSRV log, for example:
