E-PIA: Cursor Focus is not Working Properly in Lookup Fields When AutoComplete/TypeAhead Is Enabled (Doc ID 1375856.1)

When modifying the description field on the Definition page of the Paygroup table setup, the cursor returns to the Effective Date field if you stop typing. This issue happens only when Autocomplete is enabled.


Symptoms

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
CASE#1

1) Log into HR9.1/8.51.x with Autocomplete feature enabled
2) Main menu > Setup hrms > product related > payroll for north america > payroll processing controls > pay group table
3) Click on Add a new value, create a paygroup table and click on Add button
4) in the definition tab, type some characters in "Description" field and stop typing, the cursor returns to the beginning of Effective Date field.(IE7/8/9)
5) in the definition tab, type some characters in "Description" field and stop typing, the cursor returns to the end of Effective Date field.(Firefox 3.6.23)

CASE#2

1) Log into PIA with Autocomplete feature enabled
2) Go to Main Menu >PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Processes
3) Click button Search
4) open the any process for example 3CENGINE
5) In the Process Definition tab, go to Process type lookup field and type slowly application engine (or) stop while typing
6) See the cursor focus set to the start of the field
