E-PERFMON: System Is Prompting for a PPMConsole Access Password when Trying to Save And Ping PPMI URL (Doc ID 1379995.1)

Symptoms

The system is prompting you for the PPMConsole Access Password when trying to Save/Ping the PPMI URL under the Performance Monitor Global Administration page. At the same time the following error messages are written to the APPSRV_DATE.log on the

Monitoring system.

Invalid PPMI session response received from Monitoring Server. Collator registering again (209,57)



Monitored system:
----------------------

PerfMon Agent) Communication to Monitor Servlet failed. Either the Performance Monitor URL is invalid or the Performance Monitor Webserver is unavailable. Exception: java.io.IOException: Invalid response code from server: 404 Monitor not activated.




Changes

Changed the PPMI URL to use HTTPS as the communication protocol instead of using HTTP.
