Symptoms

In a PeopleTools 8.4x or 8.5x based environment, when attempting to ping a node get an error like the following:

Steps to Replicate:

  1. In  PIA session navigate PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Integration Setup > Nodes
  2. Look up and open the default local node
  3. Switch to the tab Connectors
  4. Click the Ping Node button.
