When Defining Sources for Configurable Matrix, "First operand of . is null (180,236) error occurs (Doc ID 1421813.1)

When you update Configurable Matrices Sources, you receive the following error:

First operand of . is NULL, so cannot access member classID. (180,236) WCS_SOURCE.Definition.RelatedToEmployeeDefn.OnExecute Name:LoadClasses PCPC:1256 Statement:28
Called from:WCS_SOURCE.Definition.RelatedToEmployeeDefn.OnExecute Name:RelatedToEmployeeDefn Statement:5
Called from:WCS_SOURCE_DEFN.GBL.PostBuild Statement:2 The first operand of the dot operator is the NULL value, indicating the lack of any object value. As a consequence, the given method or property cannot be used.


To replicate, go to Setup HRMS > Common Definitions > Configurable Matrices > Define Sources page and attempt to update and save the record.

This Issue does not occur on DEMO.  Many customers are facing this on their upgraded environments.
