ETL9.1: Master Solution for Issues With Template Rule Made Available Feature Delivered in 9.1 Bundle 7/MP5 (Doc ID 1452109.1)

Purpose

 

 

New functionality was delivered in bundle 7/MP5  onwards where ability to create custom template was provided. This functionality was made available via bug (11898618 - ENHANCEMENT: RULE TEMPLATE DEVELOPMENT INTERFACE.)  and separate resolution id  863677. Several customers ran into issues where rules cannot be compiled, rules page cannot be edited or data is missing from rules pages. This happened mainly due to the dms scripts not being run properly due to confusing documentation. Below is a list of other issues encountered along with the solutions.
