E-WF: PT_WF_NOTIFICATION Application Package(MCF) Taking Long Time For Sending Email Notifications When Using Microsoft Exchange (Doc ID 1457713.1)

Sample environment: MicroSoft Exchange Server.

Email sent via PT_WF_NOTIFICATION application package (Send() method) (MCF)and Generic template tasks approximately 30 seconds for sending single mail.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Initiate MCFOutbound email using PT_WF_NOTIFICATION, such as hitting Notify button on PeopleTools, Workflow, Defaults & Messages, Email/Worklist page.
2. Email is processed by MS Exchange server.
3. Exchange server takes up to 30 seconds for one email.
