Symptoms

Using the Search Framework to connect to the SES server. When setting SSL to disable, able to ping the SES server.

When SSL is Enabled, the ping fails.

"Integration Gateway - External System Contact Error (158,10721)" & "Ping Test

Results Failure. Exception caught Integration Broker encountered an error (0,0)

(262,612)"

The errorLog.html file for the gateway has the following:
"IOException: The host couldn't be resolved."

Replication Steps:
---------------

1. Navigate to: PeopleTools> Search Framework> Administration> Search Instance.
2. Enable SSL.
3. Set the SES hostname and https port.
4. Ping.
