E-NV: Error Running The Psodbccrinst.exe and installing nVision (Doc ID 1467242.1)

Symptoms

 When attempting to setup the odbc driver the following error occurs:

'Unable to create registry key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI\PeopleSoft PeopleTools"

When running pscfg.exe client setup tab to install nvision the following errors occur:

"Failed to register DLL [\\peod102bvwa\psftuser\Hnow\bin\client\winx86\PSNVD.DLL]
 LoadLibrary failed - This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Registered DLL : [\\peod102bvwa\psftuser\Hnow\bin\client\winx86\PSNXL.DLL]

Registered DLL : [\\peod102bvwa\psftuser\Hnow\bin\client\winx86\PSNXLPS.DLL]

Failed to register DLL [\\peod102bvwa\psftuser\Hnow\bin\client\winx86\PSNAM.DLL]
 LoadLibrary failed - This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.


Registered DLL : [\\peod102bvwa\psftuser\Hnow\bin\client\winx86\PSNAMPS.DLL]

Failed to register DLL [\\peod102bvwa\psftuser\Hnow\bin\client\winx86\IMGDISPLAY.OCX]
 LoadLibrary failed - This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
