Symptoms

When attempting to access the View Financial Aid or Accept/Decline Financial Aid pages in Student Center - or through other navigation - the page doesn't open as expected, and instead an error displays. The beginning of the error message is:

The issue may only affect students whose access has been defined in setup by a filter.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Signed in as the student, navigate to one of the two pages, such as via Self Services > Finances > Accept/Decline Awards.
  2. Note the error displayed on a pop-up box on the page.
