Symptoms

HCM Framework error occurs at HCM Framework cache refresh and course session creation

A stacked three part error starting with 'Unexpected data type code' occurs consistently when using the Refesh Cache button (Setup HRMS > System Administration > HCM Registry > Service Registry) and occasionally when using the Course Session screen to add a session. Issue can be replicated in all environments, except for Demo.

ERROR

When using the Refesh Cache button (Set Up HRMS > System Administration > HCM Registry > Service Registry) and occaisonally when using the Course Session screen to add a session, user faces the below error:

Unexpected data type code: None (180, 605) HMCR_FRAMEWORK.ServiceFramework.Caching.RegistryCache.OnExecute Name: SetRemoteSOANodeList PCPC: 10352 Statement:208

Called from: HMCR_IFC_WRK. HMCR_REFRESH_CACHE. FieldChange Statement: 12

The evaluator encountered unexpected data type code.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Set Up HRMS > System Administration > HCM Registry > Service Registry
2. Use the Refesh Cache button
3. The above specified error occurs.
