E-PIA: Cannot Save Expanded/Collpased State For Display Only Grids (Doc ID 1487819.1)

Symptoms

 Using the "Customize Page" feature on PeopleSoft pages the expanded or  collapsed state of a collapsible grid is not being kept after customizing  the page and checking "Save the state of the  expanded/collapsed sections on  this page". Display only grids are not subject to this customization.  Even if the grid is display only, this should not be correlated with the  personalization options of the page.
 
  REPLICATION STEPS
  =================
  1- In a HRMS application, navigate to Payroll for North America --> Payroll  Processing CAN -- > Produce Payroll Review Paycheque
  2- Choose Company = GBI - PAYGROUP = KC2 - EMPLID = KC0001
  3- Click "Search"
  4- Pick up the first row form the returned results
  5- Collapse the "Special Accumulator" Section
  6- Click on the "Customize Page" link
  7- Select the "Save the state of the expanded/collapsed sections on this  page" option
  8- Click the "OK" button
  9 - Click the "return to search button"
  9- Select again the same row or another row
  10- The state of the page  (Collapse the "Special Accumulator" section )  was not saved
