Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Campus Solutions, Payment Plans-Third Party Con

Waivers, and payments  are not applying to payment plan charges, rather they are applying to tuition charges that did not move to the payment plan account as part of the anticipated aid calculation.

At times this may also cause the payment plan installment due  amounts to be adjusted down.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
As charges covered by anticipated aid are expected to paid when aid arrives , any payments posted to the student account should apply to the payment plan due charges first.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Post a payment via Self serve, Group post, or Student post for a student who has charges that did not move to their payment plan account and charges in the payment plan account.
  2. Note that the payment applied FIRST to the charges that did not move to the payment plan account.
