Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On :  9.1 version, Time Administration

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Meal time not deducted from the payable time when TRC is reported.

On workgroup setup we have selected the option to exclude Meal (Lunch) from calculating punch total for a day.
Now if we do not report a TRC against any punch time reported for a day then payable time comes correctly and meal time is deducted from total payable time for that day but if we report a TRC against a punch time having meal reported then payable time doesn't deducts meal hours which is incorrect.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When punch time is reported along with Meal then Punch Total on timesheet and the payable time should deduct the meal punches base don workgroup setup even if TRC is reported or not reported.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. setup workgroup with include breaks only
2.report time with meal punches, for one day report TRC and other day no TRC
3. The timesheet totals are correct, excludes meal punches
4. Run TA
5. Payable time for the day no TRC is reported is correct, the day when TRC is reported the meal is added to the payable time.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, payable time is not calculated as expected.
