When Modifying Checklists and 3C Event Definition, Need Join Between Effective Dates on EVNT_3CS_TBL and EVNT_CHKITM_TBL Due to Effective Dating (Doc ID 1494144.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 03, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Campus Community - Version 9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A checklist originally had three checklist items. A user created a new effective-dated row under Campus Community > Checklists > Set up Checklists > Checklist Table, and that version of the checklist only has two items. The status on the original row has been marked as inactive. Updated the Event Definition (under Campus Community > 3C Engine > Set Up 3C Engine > Event Definition) in the same manner - new effective-dated row and an inactive historical row. When the checklist is assigned via Campus Community > 3C Engine > Run 3C Engine, with the run control referencing the updated Event Definition, the process still assigns the outdated checklist with the three checklist items.

Due to this issue, users will load all values that are not needed.
