ELM 9.1: Allow Equivalent"s Functionality Not Working For Programs When Equivalent Exists At Catalog Item

A Program moves to completed status when the learner completes the equivalent of the item. However, the application is not validating "Allow Equivalents" box on Program Setup which does not allow for Equivalent(s).

Replication Steps:

  1. Login as PS/PS
  2. Created the following Catalog Items and Activities:
    • Catalog Item C: C Equivalent Test
    • Activity C: CTestEq
    • Catalog Item D: D Equivalent Test
    • Activity D: DTestEq
  3. Added Catalog Item D as equivalent of Catalog Item C
  4. Enrolled Learner in Catalog Item B and marked course completed
  5. Created program and Added Catalog Item C to program
  6. Did NOT check Allow Equivalents box on Sections page
  7. Enroll Learner into the Program
  8. Program will move the completed status without validating the Equivalents box on the Program
