CONTACT_SYNC Subscription Fails in SCM when Adding a New Address and Contact to a Customer in SCM from CRM while the First Customer Address Was Inactivated in SCM (Doc ID 1507758.1)

Symptoms

The CONTACT_SYNC subscription fails with the below errors when adding a new Address and Contact to a Customer in SCM from CRM while the first Customer Address was inactivated in SCM:

Transaction: 1, Key Values: SHARE, 300006
No Error - Information Only

No rows exist for the specified keys. {1}
No rows exist in the database with the specified keys.

No current effective item number. {1}
A current effective item number does not exist.

Invalid value -- press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values (15,11)

Error changing value. {1}
An error occurred while changing the value of the field.

You must enter an address location for this customer. (9030,118)

Error saving Component Interface. {1}
An error occurred while saving the Component Interface. The most likely cause is that required fields were uninitialized, or that the business logic enforcement written in PeopleCode returned an error.

Component Interface Save method failed for transaction number 1 (18022,57)

No rows exist for the specified keys. {CONTACT_INFO} (91,50) No rows exist in the database with the specified keys. (Source:CONTACT_INFO)

No current effective item number. {CONTACT_INFO.CONTACT.GetCurrentItemNum} (91,38) A current effective item number does not exist. (Source:CONTACT_INFO.CONTACT.GetCurrentItemNum)

Invalid value -- press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values (15,11) The value entered in the field does not match one of the allowable values. You can see the allowable values by pressing the Prompt button or hyperlink.

Error changing value. {CONTACT_INFO.CONTACT(1).CONTACT_CUST(1).ADDRESS_SEQ_NUM} (91,34) An error occurred while changing the value of the field. (Source:CONTACT_INFO.CONTACT(1).CONTACT_CUST(1).ADDRESS_SEQ_NUM)

You must enter an address location for this customer. (9030,118) An address location must be entered for this customer in the Contact Customer Panel.

Error saving Component Interface. {CONTACT_INFO} (91,37) An error occurred while saving the Component Interface.

 

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Enter a new Customer in CRM with an Address and no Contact --> goes to SCM.
  2. Add an extra Address for that Customer in CRM and 2 Contacts (use company address as address for the Contacts) --> goes to SCM.
  3. Make the first Address inactive in SCM --> goes to CRM (the Address no longer visible in CRM).
  4. Add another Address in CRM and a new  Contact (use company address as address) --> goes to SCM > the CONTACT_SYNC subscription fails.
