Incorrect Scheduled Ship Date Calculated when Creating InterUnit Transfers from Sales Orders and Using Intransit Days (Doc ID 1517990.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Order Management - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Inventory - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When InterUnit Transfers are created because there is not enough quantity available to fulfill a Sales Order (using the Alternate Source of Supply functionality), the system adds the Intransit Days which are defined in the 'Transfer Attributes' page (navigation: Items, Define Items and Attributes, Transfer Attributes) to the Scheduled Ship Date in order to calculate the Scheduled Arrival Date.

The system should calculate the Scheduled Ship Date/Time vs. the Current Date/Time and then subtract the Intransit Days and hours.
