RMA Replacement Sales Orders Can be Opened but Not Processed by the 'OM Order Completion/Reprice' Process (OM_BACKGRND) If a Payment Method Error Is Issued During the RMA Creation (Doc ID 1518744.1)

Symptoms

When you enter a new Material Return (RMA) in 'Open' status and receive an error on the Pay Method (navigation: Customer Returns, Create/Update RMA), a row is added to the PS_ORD_HEADER_LOCK table.

After fixing the error and generating a Replacement Sales Order, you cannot run the 'OM Order Completion/Reprice' process (OM_BACKGRND) for it (navigation: Order Management, Quotes and Orders, Process Orders, Order Completion) as you cannot select the Sales Order.

If you open the Sales Order and try to modify it, different errors are issued. Here is one of them:

Message - Changes conflict with another data item or Field is Required ORD_SCHEDULE - SCHED_LINE_NBR
