Why does the system use hourly rate of pay to calculate compa-ratio on some pages, while other pages use annual pay? When individuals in the same salary plan have different standard hours, the compa-ratio is different when based on the hourly rate than it would be when based on the annual rate.
For example, an employee is enrolled in Salary Administration Plan A, which establishes standard hours as 40 per week. But the employee works a reduced work schedule of 35 hours per week.
The system displays the Compa-Ratio as .47 or 47% on the following pages:
Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data > Compensation
Manager Self Service > Compensation and Stock > View Compensation History
Manager Self Service > Manager Dashboard > Direct Line Reports pagelet > Compensation tab.
The system displays the Compa-Ratio as .41 or 41% on the following pages:
Manager Self Service > Compensation and Stock > Request Ad Hoc Salary Change
Manager Self Service > Talent Summary > [Select employee] > Current Salary
