E-WL: Slow Performance, Stuck Threads, and Excessive Jolt Connections when Using Coherence*Web Stateful Failover (Doc ID 1529994.1)

While running load tests, without Coherence*Web, everything performs well.  But when running the same load tests, with Coherence*Web configured, performance is slow, and the WebLogic logs are showing stuck threads. Example:

Also, if monitoring jolt connections (via psadmin) during load test with Coherence*Web enabled, you may notice excessive jolt connections.  This can be observed by doing the following:
  a) Run "psadmin"
  b) Go to "Domain Status Menu"
  c) Go to "Client Status"
  d) When using Coherence*Web, you will most likely see many jolt connections.
