Goal

Users sometimes want to define a pre-requiste for a course where the prerequisite is completion of a remedial course that carries zero units and does not earn credit. The usual Enrollment Requirement Group setup using a Group Line Type of Course does not produce the desire result-- no student meets the prerequisite, regardless of prior enrollments. This is because the Enrollment Requirement Group course functionality assumes courses carry units and earned credit.

 

How can a pre-requisite be created that requires a course which carries no earned credit and/or zero units?
