When entering an Annual Pledge on the Base Benefits Spending Accounts enrollment page for Plan Type 67 which exceeds the maximum as per the configuration of the HSA Benefit table an message is received:
“Annual pledge is outside the limits for plan type 67.” (Message ID 4000,72)
Navigation: Benefits > Enroll in Benefits > Spending Accounts
The error message is received when: The Option Code of the HSA plan on the Benefit Program had to match the Option Code of the Benefit Plan/Coverage Code for Medical on the Benefit Program for which cross-plan validation was set up and in which the employee is enrolled.
For example, if the Option Code of the HSA Plan was the same as the related Medical plan for Coverage Code 1 and the employee was enrolled in Coverage Code 4, there would be no message and any amount could be saved as the Annual Pledge. Only if the Option Code for HSA matched the Medical plan Coverage Code 4 Option Code would the above message be received.
Requesting the error message be changed to a warning message.
