E-PORTAL: Unable To Access Employee Through Direct Line Reports in Manager Dashboard in HCM9.2 (Doc ID 1550802.1)

Symptoms

In HCM 9.2, when navigating to Manager Self Service, Manager Dashboard, and then accessing an employee in Direct Line Reports section, the PeopleSoft sign-in page displays with the following error:

Your PeopleSoft session has expired. Close all browser windows before logging in again. If this is your only active PeopleSoft session, click the Sign in link to sign in again.


The Application Server log shows the following accompanying error:


In short, one is unable to access employee through Direct Line Reports.  The issue is specific to PT 8.53.01 and lower.
