E-SES: Search Instance "Proxy Login" Test Fails with Message "Proxy login Failed; No Active identity plug-in" (Doc ID 1553735.1)

Goal

 Proxy Login fails when on Search Framework instance:

On Main Menu > PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Search Instance page, hit the ‘Proxy Login’ button in the Query Service Credentials groupbox.

Following message is displayed even though the Entity Name has been entered into the SES instance:
