The objective of this note is to inform customers of PeopleSoft Financials about legislative changes and global functionality included in Release 9.2 through their addition to the Global Technical Brief. This Global Technical Brief discusses the PeopleSoft global strategy, reviews key global functionality provided in PeopleSoft products, and presents—by region—a list of significant features developed for specific countries.
Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Release 9.2 and above

PeopleSoft continues to support global requirements that originate from regulators. PeopleSoft Financials/SCM Release 9.2 supports several features that impact global customers and their related implementation requirements. Global features can impact several products or be part of the Global Components Framework.
PeopleSoft Financials Release 9.2 provides the ability to produce the EC Sales List (ESL) for the UK as an XML file, which may be submitted to HMRC.
EFT Payment Formats
PeopleSoft Financials release 9.2 addresses the following changes:
SEPA Rulebook 6.0 for Credit Transfers and Direct Debits
CBI EFT for Italy
DTAZV for Germany
Multi Currency enhancement for EFT in Switzerland
SPS Payment Formats support for GWA reporters of the US Federal Government
Taxes and Withholding
Taxation and withholding rules are updated in PeopleSoft Financials Release 9.2 with the following:
TDS Certificate and Quarterly Return for India
International ESL File Extract
Global Withholding Report for Japan
In addition to these updates, PeopleSoft Financials Release 9.2 delivers a series of connected queries that generate a set of XML files containing transaction and master file data that can then be used to create the SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax purposes) file in the required format.
