E-IB: How to Disable Access to Integration Gateway Logs "errorLog.html" and "msgLog.html" from Web Browsers via HTTP or HTTPS URL (Doc ID 1561022.1)

Goal

On PeopleTools 8.40 .. 8.53 Integration Broker (IB) the default configuration of the gateway allows any user who has access to the base URL (http(s)://{host}:{port}/) of PIA web server on which the gateway runs, to see the gateway's error log (errorLog.html) and (if generated) gateway message log (msgLog.html) using URLs like this:

  http[s]://{host}:{port}/PSIGW/errorLog.html
  http[s]://{host}:{port}/PSIGW/msgLog.html

This may be undesirable, for example because of message data security considerations, is there a way to prevent such access to the gateway logs via web server HTTP/HTTPS URLs?
