In PT 8.53 when in a user profile, no matter which tab you are on, if you hit the save button, and the OPRID does not have a password, like an LDAP user, so the OPERPSWD field on PSOPRDEFN is blanked out, the following message pops up stating that the user password field is blank.

Warning-- No password provided! External Authentication will be required for the Iser ID to be usable.

Press the "OK" button if you would like to save without a password. Press the "Cancel" bitton to enter a password before saving.

After clicking OK button in the warning message, you are immediately taken to the "General" tab of the user profile. There is no way to stop this from happening.
