Symptoms

When attempting to start Oracle Tuxedo ProcMgr, the following error occurs:
  
  ERROR
  - - - - - - - -
  TUXNT_CAT:46: ERROR: Cannot create server pipe '\\.\pipe\OracleProcMGR_V10.3.0.0_2008' (All pipe instances are busy.)

Issue
  1. Description of Problem: After making a change to TM_TUXIPC_MAPDRIVER environment variable the Tuxedo Windows Service would not start.
  2. Sequence of events
  
   a. TM_TUXIPC_MAPDRIVER environment variable directory paths were changed.
   b. A new directory path was added and Drive Letter assignments were also changed.
   c. Booting the machine did not resolve.
   d. Removing TM_TUXIPC_MAPDRIVER environment variable did not resolve either.
 
 

Changes

 

In the following example a change was made to the directory heirarchy for the existing TM_TUXIPC_MAPDRIVER environment variable:

X:=\\myHostnameA\shared

to

X:=\\myHostnameB\shared
