Prenote Email Payment Advices should not be sent to Vendors. The Invoice details in the email attachment will only be blank (XXXXX Invoice ID and 0 amount). There is no indicator in the Payment Advice to let the Vendor know that it is only a Prenote transaction.
1. Create a new or update existing Vendor - set Payment Method to ACH, Pre-notification Required=checked, Bank Account details populated, enable Email Remittance Advice=checked with Email ID populated and Payment Method set to ACH
2. Create a voucher paying to another Vendor (ACH Payment Method)
3. Run Pay Cycle...this is expected to create a prenote transaction for the Vendor in #1 and a regular payment for the Voucher in #2.
4. Run the Email Payment Advice. This sends two payment advice emails - one to Vendor in #1 and another to Vendor in #2.
