ETL 9.1/9.2: TL_TIMEADMIN Incorrectly Creates TLX00170 Exception When Jobcode Is Active
Last updated on JULY 15, 2016
Applies to:PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 9.1 version, Time Administration
When making a prior period adjustment to time for an employee with a jobcode that was inactivated,
TA generates an exception in error. The job code was active on the date under report the prior period adjustment is being made for. SQL in Time Admin is only looking at current date which is inactive.
TLX00170 - Invalid Jobcode: 011312.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. report time in the past for an employee that uses a task profile that contains jobcode. Approve it or load to paysheets in order to freeze it.
2. enter a new effective date (current) for the jobcode and inactivate it
3. make a change to the previous reported row to that jobcode prior to the inactivation date.
4. run time admin and check exceptions
Due to this issue, users cannot get payable time offsets generated for prior period changes if the job code is currently inactive.
