Template Based Hire - Combination Code is Not Populated in Payroll Tab in Job Data (Doc ID 1574826.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 07, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer has included the delivered JOB.ACCT_CD field in section 590 (Job Payroll Information) into a new Template Based Hire template.

When using this template based hire page, it allows the user to select a valid ACCT_CD value. After the Submit button is selected, it is confirmed that the ACCT_CD value is populated in the table HR_TBH_DATA, but it does NOT get saved in the JOB record. All other records and fields appear to be saved in the core tables as expected.

Combination code should be made visible in Payroll tab in Job Data of employee.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Set Up HRMS > Product Related > Workforce Administration > Template-Based Hire > Template Creation
2. Create the template with section on Personal & Job Data.
3. Once the template is created, hire an employee using this template.
4. Once the employee is hired while using the above template, check the value visible in payroll section.
