Warning Messages when Running Purchase Order Autosource (PO_AUTO_SRC) process or PO_CREATE with Combo Edits Turned On (Doc ID 1578089.1)

Symptoms

Warning messages are thrown when running PO_AUTO_SRC or PO_CREATE with Combo Edits turned on. When Combination Edits is turned on for Purchasing, the following WARNING messages are logged in the Process Monitor Message Log file when running PO_AUTO_SRC or PO_CREATE

Warning message(s):

WARNING: UNABLE TO PERFORM COMMIT - FORCING USE OF BASE TABLE FOR COMB_EXP_TAO

WARNING: UNABLE TO PERFORM COMMIT - FORCING USE OF BASE TABLE FOR COMB_S30_TAO

WARNING: UNABLE TO PERFORM COMMIT - FORCING USE OF BASE TABLE FOR FS_GRRULE_TA

 

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1)-Define Combo Edit
2)-Associate the combo edit to the GL bu say US005   
3)-Enable combo edit for the Purchasing BU say US001    
4)-Create a requisition in US001    
5)-Fill in vendor    
6)-Enter the chartfields
7)-Approve it and run autosource    
8)-Open the AET file
