EAM: Orphan Row Created By INTFC_PHY_B When INTFC_FIN And INTFC_PHY_A Are In ERR
Last updated on APRIL 25, 2016
Applies to:PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Asset Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When the ps_intfc_fin and ps_intfc_phy_a rows ERR, the corresponding ps_intfc_phy_b row loads and inserts an orphan row in the ps_asset_comments table.
It is expected that the corresponding ps_intfc_phy_b row will be marked as ERR and a row will NOT be inserted into ps_asset_comments.
This issue can be replicated at will via the following steps:
1) Set your AM and GL periods to closed for the period for which you are loading data to ensure that the rows will error.
2) Load the interface id into AM via AMIF1000.
3) Verify the load_status of all 3 interface rows. Check the ps_asset_comments table for orphan rows.
