PeopleSoft Enterprise ELM Enterprise Learning Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This issue can occur with any bulk email program in addition to SCC_COMMGEN such as; LM_NOTIFY, EX_EMPNOTIFY

Symptoms

On : PT 8.5x Running any  Application Engine (AE) Bulk Emailing process, in this case CS 9.0  SCC_COMMGEN.


The SCC_COMMGEN Application Engine Program runs and finishes successfully, even though not all email are delivered, and error is seen in AESRV log.
 

 ERROR
 -----------------------


 The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
 1. Navigate to Campus Community > Communications > Communication Generation.
 2. Run process (AE SCC_COMMGEN) when anticipating a large volume of emails to be sent.
 3. Observe the AE goes Success.
 4. Note error in AESRV.log file.
